The answer if obviously no. You would want to go to the correct professional for those needs. The same should apply when it comes to selling your home.
Selling your home is one of the most stressful things you will do in your lifetime. Having a professional to take care of every detail, both big and small, can relieve a lot of pressure and make the transaction a good experience. We do not just simply list homes on the mls. We market each property on leading websites, such as Realtor.com, Trulia.com, Zillow.com, Homes.com, Hotpads.com, and many more. Most of these websites offer mobile applications as well. Statistics show that a majority of home buyers begin their search online or via a mobile application.
Two very important factors when selling your home are:
1. Choosing a Realtor– This is the most important step, as the wrong decision can determine the length of time your home will be on the market and cause unneeded stress through the process.
2. Coming to terms on a sale price– Pricing your home correctly is crucial. Pricing too high and coming down will put you above the market and force you to catch up. If you are above the market, your property will most likely become stale and force you to reduce the sale amount by a larger margin than you had originally intended. Pricing correctly will allow you to sell quickly, without sitting on the market for an excessive period of time.
Realtors can assist you in pricing the home correctly by providing a Comparitive Market Analysis, CMA for short. This will show homes that are similar to yours that have sold in the last 6 months or so. We usually do not recommend going back farther than 6 months, because of the constant market changes.
If you or someone you know are looking to sell your home, please contact me for a free CMA to see what your home is valued. There is no obligation or paperwork to sign if you decide that this isn’t the correct time to sell. Hope to hear from you soon! 610-823-1309 or firstname.lastname@example.org
